Overview
This is an all-in-one Mount Kinabalu package, which includes a thrilling Via Ferrata activity at the Low's Peak Circuit. Climbers will journey along the Timpohon Trail, reaching the Pendant Hut in Panalaban Base Camp for an overnight stay. The following morning starts with an early ascent to Low's Peak before proceeding towards the Via Ferrata.

Itinerary
DAY 1: KOTA KINABALU / KINABALU PARK HQ / TIMPOHON GATE / ASCEND MOUNT KINABALU / PENDANT HUT
- Packed Lunch, Buffet Dinner
- 06:00 Hr: Depart from your hotel lobby and embark on a 2-hour journey to Kinabalu Park Headquarter. Make sure to collect your packed lunch during this time.
- 09:00 Hr: Our guide will handle all necessary registrations, assign a mountain guide, and obtain your ID TAG. Remember to wear the ID TAG throughout the climb.
- You'll then be transferred to Timpohon Gate, which is the starting point for your journey to the summit of Borneo's highest mountain.
- The climb is estimated to take 4 to 5 hours and will pass through various vegetation zones ranging from Oak and Chestnut to mossy and eventually to alpine types of vegetation.
- 15:00 Hr: Arrive at Pendant hut @ 3,289m, where you can settle in.
- 15:30 Hr: Attend the mandatory Via Ferrata familiarization at Pendant Hut and meet your Mountain Torq trainer.
- 20:00 Hr: Lights out.
DAY 2: LOW’S PEAK / LOW’S PEAK CIRCUIT / DESCEND MOUNT KINABALU / KOTA KINABALU
- Early Supper, Breakfast, Lunch
- 01:30 Hr: Wake up for an early supper and pack up your belongings.
- 02:30 Hr: Continue your journey towards the summit of Mount Kinabalu.
- 05:40 Hr: Reach Summit Low's peak to catch the sunrise at 4,095m.
- 06:00 Hr: Descend from Low's Peak to meet your Mountain Torq trainer.
- 06:30 Hr: Meet your via ferrata trainer at the 7.5 km mark for Low's Peak Circuit via ferrata experience (intermediate via ferrata, 4 to 5 hrs, French grade AD).
- 11:00 Hr: Return to Pendant Hut for a well-earned late breakfast.
- 12:00 Hr: Check out of Pendant Hut, then descend to Timpohon Gate.
- Arrive at Timpohon Gate at an estimated time of arrival between 16:00hr to 19:30hr, and transfer to headquarters to collect your certificate of achievement.
- Lunch will be served in Kinabalu Park.
- Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu city, and the journey is expected to take approximately 2 hours.

Important Notes
- Climbers arriving at Timpohon Gate after 4:30 PM will be charged MYR 15.00 per hour per guide, which must be paid to the guide on site.
- Remember to bring your passport or MYKAD for verification during registration at the Kinabalu Park office.
- Beginning September 1st, 2017, the Tourism and Culture Ministry of Malaysia will be implementing a Malaysian Tourism Tax (TTX) for foreign tourists. The rate is MYR 10 per room per night, regardless of the accommodation's star level, and is to be paid upon check-in. Malaysians or permanent residents residing in Malaysia are exempt from the TTX and must present valid identification upon check-in to claim the exemption.
- On the day of the climb, climbers must bring their original passports or ID cards to the Kinabalu Park HQ for registration.
- While at Pendant Hut, customers must bring their own face masks and wear them at all times, except during eating, drinking, and sleeping periods.
- On the first day of the climb, climbers must attend a mandatory briefing and training session for the Via Ferrata route in Pendant Hut between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
- On the second day of the climb, climbers must return to the starting point by 7:15 AM (WTT) or 6:30 AM (LPC) as the latest cut-off time.
- All groups will be led by qualified Mountain Torq Via Ferrata trainers, and climbers will be mixed together.
- Climbers who do not comply with the timing will not be able to continue with the Via Ferrata activity, and no reimbursement will be given.
- In case of bad weather, the Via Ferrata activity may be cancelled for safety reasons, and no reimbursement will be given.
- It is recommended that all climbers have a medical check-up before attempting any mountain climb.
- Suppose you have a history of conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, palpitations, arthritis, heart disease, severe anaemia, peptic ulcers, epileptic fits, obesity, chronic asthma, muscular cramps, hepatitis, or any other illness that may impede your climb, it is highly recommended that you refrain from climbing.
- All children under the age of 15 must fill out an indemnity form upon registration at the park headquarters.
- Our dedicated team operates around the clock to accommodate all guests' arrival schedules. Therefore, we are able to provide airport pick-up services at any time to match your arrival time. Please provide us with your flight details at least one week prior to your flight so we can make the necessary arrangements.
